What Happened
Microsoft is raising the prices of its Xbox Series X and S consoles globally by more than $100. The Xbox Series X will now cost $800, representing a $150 increase. This is the third time Microsoft has increased Xbox console prices within the last 13 months.
The company attributes the price hikes to rising memory and component costs. This move follows similar price adjustments by other tech companies, such as Apple.
